Max draws inspiration from Cy Twombly’s Blackboard series, as seen in the spontaneous cursive-like loops of yellow chalk. The abstract influences of Jean-Michel Basquiat and Joan Mitchell are also evident with the use of bold colour blocks and raw, primal shapes.
The title, I Missed Again is a nod to Phil Collins’ song of the same name. For Max, though, the fear of "missing again" is far better than never even trying. This artwork stands as a visual representation of this triumph, celebrating the beauty and courage found in both the artistic process and the art itself.

Our museum-grade, large format artwork is produced by one of Australia's leading fine art print specialists.
Each edition is printed with archival pigment inks on Ilford cotton rag paper.
The thicker 310gsm paper offers incredible contrast and vivid colours. The beautifully textured finish adds a visibly refined feel to your artwork.
Prints are UV protected, so they will look as good today as they will in 100 years.
Every Frank Prince photographic print is independently quality-checked before individually numbered and embossed.
Please note: Handle your print with care. We recommend keeping the print in its packaging until you are ready to frame.

Due to the large size of our fine art prints, and the delicate nature of glass-framed artwork, our custom framing option is currently only available to Perth-based clients.
To assist our interstate collectors, we can provide detailed framing instructions. We are also available to speak with your preferred framer if they happen to have any questions.
For Perth-based clients, Frank Prince has collaborated with our dedicated gallery partner to offer bespoke float mount framing for your artwork.
What is float mount framing?
Float mount framing is a sophisticated method of displaying artwork where it appears to be floating within the frame (without any visible support or matting touching its edges).
This minimalist technique showcases the photographic artwork itself, offering a refined and modern approach without the distraction of matting or borders.
A white printed border around the print area showcases the delicate texture of the paper and includes the hand signed Frank Prince signature and edition number.

Frank Prince is not mass produced. Instead, our photographic artworks are expertly produced by our gallery partner in Perth, Western Australia.
Prints (shipping Australia-wide)
Upon ordering, every limited edition piece is individually printed and then hand signed and numbered.
As such, please allow a maximum of 10 business days for printing, with all print orders then securely packaged and promptly delivered with tracked shipping.
Framed Orders (available Perth only)
Please note: Due to the large size of our fine art prints, and the delicate nature of glass-framed artwork, interstate shipping from Perth is not available.
That said, we do provide our interstate collectors with detailed framing instructions. We are also available to speak with your preferred framer if they have any questions about framing your Frank Prince artwork.
